Google geo location search

I just did a Google search for “movie listings” to find out about movie times and was surpised that Google searched using the location I was in, which was Petaling Jaya.

Clicking on the first item showed me the listings of the movies and the  major cinemas in Petaling Jaya. That IS pretty convenient.

    Your ip that you log into google can be related to your zip code. If you try this same function with an iphone the theaters number on a button comes up and you can call them (with your phone) but it gets the number from the google.

    I am confused!! what does this post mean?? it does not show any location to me
